Well, im not engaged in such activities but the way i see it:
every ecosystem needs its predators. If someone gets hard over killing newbs im fine with it. That PK-guy is also an idiot because he could make more caps the same time by doing somethin else.
But the real value is introducing new guys to PvP. So keep up the good work!
It sounds good at first but if you think about what kind of gameplay predator - prey relations cause is that they reduce player interaction and slows down activity. Prey hides, predator waits. Neither really gets what they want. Good example is SF chem comps: no sane person goes there when he knows there's high risk to meet players. No sane person just risks hundred thousand caps for fun or because he's busy. And for certain this for sure doesn't introduce anyone to pvp. Pvp is when both sides agreed to enter a specific location with a goal to fight other players. And besides: who the fuck wants to play as prey?
