It is part of the game and in my opinion a valid one.

It works as long as we got prey to hunt. The popularity of every wipe is based on the fact that there's lots of prey to hunt for those who prepare fast. In the end there are mostly just some random loners and beginner nuub teams that the salivating blood hound pvp teams track until there is nothing more to scout but the scouts of other similar teams. That's the real essence of harsh wasteland - nothing to do.

Well, im not engaged in such activities but the way i see it:
every ecosystem needs its predators. If someone gets hard over killing newbs im fine with it. That PK-guy is also an idiot because he could make more caps the same time by doing somethin else.
But the real value is introducing new guys to PvP. So keep up the good work!

It sounds good at first but if you think about what kind of gameplay predator - prey relations cause is that they reduce player interaction and slows down activity. Prey hides, predator waits. Neither really gets what they want. Good example is SF chem comps: no sane person goes there when he knows there's high risk to meet players. No sane person just risks hundred thousand caps for fun or because he's busy. And for certain this for sure doesn't introduce anyone to pvp. Pvp is when both sides agreed to enter a specific location with a goal to fight other players. And besides: who the fuck wants to play as prey?

Agreed, people should live up to their character names. This guy should be banned for 1 day for not acting properly and if he doesn't improve, 1 week ban and then perma. Big name, big responsibility.

One thing about dungeons is certain: all of our dungeons have a pve way to do them and pvp way. Pve is designed by devs but very often the whole pvp aspect is simply forgotten and gets designed by players. And players are pretty bad designers. For example you best not do ares if there is a high risk of backstab. That's silly activity-killer and concerns all dungeons.

So personally I don't want to see a single another dungeon where you have to camp wordlmap or not advance in them because of other players. Or where the strategy to perform them drastically changes because of player presence.

3. If nobody shows up, give option to get random loot from killing enclave npcs (and make them stronger if necessary).

Hey not a bad idea! If players don't show up, a random ai pvp ape team spawns with typical pvp builds and names.

Hmm actually a special leather armour would be reasonable I guess, considering that it's sort of like the trademark armour of most junktown scouts.

But if this special leather is worse than ca or mamkii, no one will use it.
