So anyone played the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series ? Is it worth the time ?

Sure it is worth the time! STALKER is a great game... guns, mutants, anomalies... still for the first STALKER (shadow of chernobyl) after you get trough it I recommend to download The Oblivion Lost mod... This mod adds alot od stuff which was cut off in final game (and adds much better lighting effects).

        oh and... "Get out of here stalker! ...  I said come in, don't stand there!"

Cause Fallout 3&NV were disappointment to me.

Little lack of good atmosphere in first one, but with oblivion lost its so freaking better (first lab is just great)

Sadly oblivion lost have some things what totally unbalance game (110% resists ... wth ? ) and from one mission where you found specific weapon you have it to the end because there is no better (what is sad)

Scavenger, Trespasser, Adventurer, Loner, Killer, Explorer and Robber! In short, Stalker!
The game had a story, twists, thrill, funny moments, an impressive nuclear powerplant, good mods...
Pretty much all i ask for when looking for a good game.

If you dont know it, shame on you, go buy it now, play it through, and only then you are allowed to come back.

I've watched gameplay videos and such, but I can't get much from them, but you lot gave me a nice feedback, so its worth getting it

What's with the "Complete mod" for all 3 titles ?

I can't believe I didn't play this before, I'm about 20 hours into shadows of chernobyl and its one of the best games I played, true post apoc experience
