Don't make solid interface from 90s style. FOnline is real time multiplayer PvP game, which means the interface must take as least pixels on the screen as possible. Be transparent, if possible. And must be white by default with an ability to change color to whatever player wants. Don't forget about color blind people or people, who just can't stand certain color. Because game features real time combat and PvP, every pixel on the screen covered with useless interface element (solid background) is decreasing player's field of view and thus gives advantage to those, who use custom interface. Don't waste your time on useless solid interface with metal parts, which will be immediately replaced by the modders. PvP players were always the best interface designers, ask them to make one. Just make sure it's monocolor and can be recolored either through the options or by downloading them and overwriting.

Going to second the criticism of the UI. People who use the current base interface are at a straight up disadvantage, and while undeniably very cool looking, this new design looks like it is going to be even bulkier. We need that screen real-estate!

Just want to reiterate, it does look very nice. Maybe for first impressions alone it will be worth it.

Hey there.
The barter interface is the biggest window, and you can fit Six of them on 1080p screen resolution.
There are few things to note of here.
- Those interface windows are pop outs, they are not used in PvP.

There will be no custom interface support in Season 4. The whole engine was restructured and it is no longer clientside to be edited. That has it's drawbacks, mainly a lack of customizing interface by players, but also puts everyone on the same ground as they cannot change things up.

The game-screen interface itself is made to obstruct the least and on transparent glass. I'd share one of the early WIP concepts of chat and panel to show that in fact, we are working to preserve as much area of sight as possible.

We will offer high customization for the screen panels in size and element transparency. You don't have to worry. ;)

Well that mostly puts any reservations I had to rest. Will also remove the load of mods required to be competitive.

Is that... a quick bar I see?

Good to see Fonline2 still up and rolling, with a promising future ahead. Thanks to all people working on the game!

Time to check my bases again and do some solo runs i guess!

BTW the new WIP interfaces look great, i think they catch the Fallout spirit really well. And a quick bar will be dope of course!
