How "tc window" works?Each town is 'captureable' for a certain amount of time every day.

in 2238 tc worked like that: there were certain times when you could take town, i think one time window was 2 hours, so you could take time only in these 2 hours, if you have the town after these 2 hours ends, enemy can try to take this town only in next day in those 2 hours again :) it force people to fight, to barikade, to try to stay alive and win by any means, now people run away, or do not come to fight at all, if they see they might win, tc windows is good antipussy pvpers feature.It was 1 hour per day, different towns - different hours.

i think that bh was 2 hours at least, because you could take bh and gecko at same time, and they didint have same tc timer :)
and to mickdick: well it sucks for Americans, but still they are minority in here, and most of all tc windows are needed because of americans or spanish speaking latinas who take those empty towns in europe nights.
to lower some butthurt, maybe town windows should be set only for work days, and for weekends all time or almost all time would be good for taking towns.
If you want to go that route, my Mexican friend, you could also have a town rotation schedule. So that way you don't get bored by having to take the same town each time you TC. :)

@Beret: Sorry for that guy, I haven't heard of him until now either. All I can say is that I can't control all members and their deeds while they do something somewhere alone. All I am responsible for is what they do in an action where I tell them what to do. We've been having the same problem since 2-3 years ago when we tried to be an anti-PK faction and some idiot would still PK in encounters when he was alone without our supervision or knowledge. Kicking all but the true anti-PKs would result in a faction with 4 or 5 members and we couldn't afford that at the time.

First: it was written many times at many places, guards have some problems, so exploiting this by killing players in towns can be consdered as abuse.

We didn't have enough guys for TC today but we decided to do some rambo action anyway, we spawned on Residential in BH into the middle of SoT, we killed some, some were killed by C88 pushing from south so we decided to fall back to the mines. Our scout was checking previews and said there were around 7 C88 on every spawn. We were thinking what to do when a taxi guy with highwayman spawned right next to us as if he heard our calling, kindly leaving us his car and with it a clear escape route. He also prepared a little surprise for us in the trunk.

what about chars with stonewall how it will affect them? I think its big update which change game machanics not like it at all. The fight was rather tough and many mistakes generated by new members provided us a burdensome time. But still, it was necessary for our opponents to call SoT members from all over the map to wipe out the last three people.
Though when we will get tired of swarm, we will recruit more players, the history will repeat and as usual SoT will rape everything possible 10 times in a row sending everyone to caves.

Making sierra control, dugeon, glow dungeon etc. - its not grinding. Its playing the game togheter with your firends, its a very positiv factor, which brings a lot of PvP, PvE and fun. This race between players is a very good thing.

I think it is misconception caused by nostalgy. 2238 had very bad places for pvp and people came to new reno because there was noplace else to be. The map wasn't even that good and honestly camping reno all day was just done out of desperation. Fo2 reno is exactly the same as on 2238 but nobody is there because the server has simply better maps to do stuff. Waiting for pvp just for the sake of pvp is pretty gosh darn boring.

That's why players are regulating themselves on how much they are willing to use T4, how much they are willing to lose and for some... what's considered fair. For me personally there is nothing cheap or unfair in the game, the game does not recognize that, only I can and I choose not to, but that's besides the point.

To be honest, you can't really speak about balance in game where each person makes individual decision regarding what kind of gear he (or she) uses.
...but one factor is absolute, there are no standards and no team is using a constant amount of T4 each fight. Anyone contributing to these incorrect and flawed observations to such standards is a complete oaf in my eyes.
I didn't say the number was constant, I said they had at least 2 tier4 every fight I've been to in last 1-2 weeks no matter if the opponent had or had not some too.
I enjoyed the fights, in most cases our leadership was rather sleepy and positioning was really awful.

Of course we enjoy rares and their capabilities, but this is getting really exaggerated, people are already installing other games to enjoy while FO2 became a partial time waster, because people don't want to participate in suicidal warmongering. Even NCR+BoS+Friends vs Rogues war had more taste than entire TC in recent weeks.The Rogues like to humiliate newcomers in PvP like NCR/BoS etc. but when someone punishing them starting to fing excuses like: duallogs/abuses/implants/TOP_stuff. When one of features nerfed you founding another excuse why you loosing. Any reason other then yourself.

Remove Tier 4. Exchange each piece of tier 4 for 50k so players can buy up steel and craft some advanced guns in return. Remove Power Armors and refund implants to players with them so they don't feel cheated. Then reduce tier 4 spawn chances 10x times.
Till that day im done for with PvP as its total shit right now.

If you taking some tier4 wrapon or some APA you just few increesing your chance for victory and risking to loose you stuff.
Why do you think that taking 10 APA is an act of showing no respect to enemies. You should treat it as a challenge. In my mind talking that full APA team have no respect is bullshit. They take all those APA cos they feel respect to enemy and they think that without APA they wouldn't achieve their goals. Also APA team is risking sth valuable while team in regular gear is risking nothing.If you will get a look on timer when video have been created yoy will understood that I physically cant loose fight when I'm sleeping...and looks like you didn't read my previous post. Don't forget that equipment doesn't play so big role in TC. Most valuable factor is skill. You lost against c88 in Den because they had better strategy. Their synergy were almost perfect. Your main weakened in fight were snipers. Their line of snipers just crash your snipers. You can't make so big mistake on TC. You need some practices to win fights against APA teams.

I was in the situation more then once of shooting a SoT guy for 42dmg with rocket and he hits me for 302 hitpoints with bozar. There is no weapon in this game that can have even a remote chance of beating bozar in TC 1v1 at range.

I saw few fights when 3-5 pa/apa was defeated by team without APAs with pretty same numbers.
its silly how yesterday in Den a guy with pulse rifle hit me in eyes for 7hitpoints. Atleast lower critroll but not chance to crit XDJust was no time to implement main concept how damage/crits must work on tier 4 armors.
Im happy anytime i see enemies in 4/5 tier stuff. Im feeling like "APA APA APA!! Kill kill!" I rly dont understand all these flames here :ppp I kinda like it when enemy comes with high tier stuff. Barely you can win such battle, but when you do... Then you know you rule, and thats the point imho (not mentioning rewards ;-))

Can't help but say that Red SOT Army got very unlucky in Den, almost everyone got KO'd by the first shot. But they also seem to be quite bad organized.

People get bored of fonline, including me. No thanks to the T4 PvP. I ll wait for next season.. ofcourse if there gonna be some significant gameplay, faction, events, quests udpates.

I seriously hope that a good update will break this monotony, otherwise I don't see a sparkling future for this game.I assume that people are not leaving because of lack of content. They are leaving because they tired to farm, tired to lvlup, tired to craft etc. People want to play games which are more dependent of skill than luck, as it is in any fonline. People can argue with this, but that's true.

This server needs wipe. Few days ago i did rambo warehouse with my Gatling and I was fighting vs 3rda. I shoot some of them but they crippled me so I had to go back to wm.You wouldn't escape

Sorry to say but when you have players like Ants and Deniwar you are the Persians. Maybe your "best" soldiers can be the ones in silver masks on the Persian side. It was still fun putting 223 FMJ rounds in your skull.. said one of the pussiest dudes I ever meet all over the wasteland. Every one achievement everything in the game and started to get boring. But C88 were still waiting for their golden age. They were avid for success and they find their opportunity. They saw that other factions become inactive. Enemies had less and less peoples.
And then, after so many months of waiting. They final reach their goals. Inactive factions were so strong. C88 become the best faction on the wasteland. Nobody could beat them. Now they are able to win against all the other so easy. Remnants are so bad at this game, C88 are gods.

You want to know how many we were on the first day? 5. I also do believe that you don't have the slightest idea about what training several newbies a week means. 3 applications a week means A LOT of effort, specially if these people are new to the game. Now you will say "*gibberish shitty polish talk* Why you didin't close recruitment then? KURWA!" That's what we did. We kept recruitment door closed for about 1 month and during that period, our (as you call it) "Golden Age" started. We had the chance to focus mainly on builds, PvP and strategies and from then on, we had the chance to show ourselves in PvP. That's a shitload of dmg since you don't need to take BRD or more criticals. Also there is no good protection against gatling, while APA makes gauss useless.
