2. Human NPC drop A LOT of random shit, and I don't know what is useful to take, and what not. Some pipes, books, keys etc. What is worth taking, and what is totally useless?
Several items dropped by NPCs can be quite valuable. Apart from aforementioned Explosives Filled Backpack (aka Bomba), Necro Cards, Khan and Trainyard Maps (free bases), Toxic maps and Mission holodisks (items initiating quests) you may also want to acquaint yourself with these:

You can exchange those items for caps and/or small amount of exp (which is good for characters that are difficult to play on early levels)

Hey, it's nice to see new people here. Fonline2 has critical chance calculated per each bullet. For example:

With 1% crit chance and 10 bullet burst there is a 10% chance that one of those bullets will score a critical hit. You'll see a notification that you've critically hit your opponent but damage wil be only slightly higher (say, one in 10 bullets dealing double damage).

With 10 luck and using Avenger Minigun you roll 40 times 10% chance to score critical. That means multiple bullets in each burst can critically hit giving you a very high damage potential.

As for your question about viability of 1 luck - yes, it is viable. Luck is a dump stat for many builds, however it's good to consider a burster with 6 luck and two Bonus Ranged Damage perks (flat bonus to each bullet fired).

PS. I am perfectly aware that guns fire rounds, not bullets. But for sake of clarity (rounds can have other meanings in games with Turn Based modes) I stick to bullets though:)

@Akira - Yeah, it would be great to make T4 recipes stand out a bit more. I have a G11e and Bozar recipes somewhere between those for Plasma Nades and Expanded Laser Rifles and have to click at every single one to find the one I'm looking for.

Also - I love the word 'accentuate'. Much more elegant than 'emphasize' :)

@Pyra - I know I can change graphics. I did that to my cars so I can ride around with rare paint jobs. My main point was to propose a way to differentiate between valuable and regular recipes. I also wonder if it actually can be used. It is not a part of original game files (regular BP uses 'Vertibird Plans' and recipes use 'Bishop Accounts Book' graphics from Fallout 2) so someone has created it specifically for 2238.

I still remember getting loot boner upon finding Combat Armor Blueprint 10 years ago playing 2238 (it was probably one of the most valuable items in that meta).
Graphic used currently for recipes is kinda lame, also it could be used to distinguish between boring, mundane T1-T3 and more exciting stuff.

Just as you can type ~terminal to access base terminal without walking to computer, you could type ~terminal_all to access all terminals that particular character can access.

Impressive list of changes. It's great to see Fonline 2 still going strong thanks to the efforts of excellent Devteam.
I especially love the new WM events and Playerbases. Makes me wanna create a char again:)

Welcome back, old friend!

Yeah, it's good to be back. My day schedule has gone to the crapper though;) I played on Thursday till 3AM doing WM events and solo dungeons knowing that I had a business meeting six hours later.

- The bonus chance to receive an upgraded item from crafting in unsafe towns was improved.

Can you share the improved percentage? According to Boon's extensive research it was around 22% to get an improved item.

I have a friend who uses this trait to a great effect on his burster.
50% of his bursts are fatal to the enemy (350 hp + damage).

Other than that many snipers and, as John said, most of sneakers use it.

It is a rather bad choice for all-round characters.

Merytoryczna odpowiedź kogoś obchodzi?

Znaleźli poważnego buga. Kilka osób potraciło swój dorobek. Bazy zrejpowane, splądrowane chałupy itd.

Teraz usuwają błąd i pewnie nastąpi reroll. Na update bym nie liczył, bo Sky z niedźwiedziem skrzynkę kończą, a to do niego należy Tech Progression.
