Ya,  E-lockpicks are too rare, spend 15k from merchant, open a few doors, get like 5,000 caps worth of loot, then either break the lockpick or get pkd.  Rinse and repeat.
Either boost the loot from lockers behind E-doors, or make E lockpicks more common, seriously, they are a joke.
You are better off just buying what you need from merchant than looting it with E-lockpick.

well in glow the lockers are not too bad sometimes you find a red card to go to 5 or something or some extra guns/armors. So in about 2-3 runs it plays off and usually my lockpicks do not break in that time.

Also in necro you have chance to find navy/desert combats so that is always nice.
It is all about luck. Personally i never buy them i just find em in glow or mariposa. Run more dungeons and you will find some soon enough.

mk2 gives more bonus to lockpick skil. If u have low lockpick skill and using mk1 you have more fails.

Plus, it gives +25 Lockpick skill, which means it can be used even for normal locks too.

where to get electronic lock pick?
There is an alternative, High lockpick and an expanded lockpick set.
i have a 100 Lockpick and i use an expanded lockpick set and can open most things.
