I'm noticing, that anything that is somewhat colorful immediately stands out on Fallout's background (In this case I think it's okay, but I'm not making decisions here^^). They sure used a shitty, limited color palette..
I still hope this will get into FO2 :P

Edit3: Updated first png, hope all those fucking sneaky aura pixels are gone now.

Ye i feel the same. Actually we need more rust, and less smoothing

This is really dirty and i like it  8)

We can try MP style as well, but it fits more to Police Car image:

Feather you might want to try applying fallout pallete to make it look slightly better in the game.

Large rusted metal texture instead of simple color mask. Some contrast added later.
