Introduction:This guide is intended for newbies or fresh newcomers that might not even have played the original Fallout. So if you're a mad pro, you can stop reading now, because all of the information included will sound silly and obvious to you. All of the repeatable quests require some skill with weapons so if you're a pure medic character or something like that you'll need to call for help in order to complete them. It's strongly recommended to get Better Critical perk (Requires: lvl 12; PE 7, LK 7, AG 4 ) for snipers (Energy/Small Guns) and Pyromaniac achievement (Requires: killing 100 humanoid NPCs with a flamer) for Big Guns' (BG) users. If you're playing a Small Guns burster, it's advisable to get 2x Bonus Ranged Damage perk (Requires: lvl6; AG 6, LK 6) before taking any of these quests. Also make sure that you're standing 1 hex away from the NPC you're going to burst, because it does the most damage that way (this won't be a problem with molerats and deathclaws since they come to you anyway). Even a BG burster should always do these quests with a flamer because it's the cheapest and most efficient way.Quests:All of the quests have a cooldown of 5 real time hours and give +100 karma for completion."I smell a rat"Contact person: Warren in Skum Pitt bar in Junktown (spawn West, it's closer)Level requirement: none
Difficulty: MediumReward: 5520 exp. points (2000 from Warren +3520 for the rats killed) and 500 capsThis is probably the first quest you'll be getting since it has no lvl restriction. The instructional video is made for a BG character. Any other character class and/or mutants should use the successive luring tactics used in the "A potential threat" guide that can be used even earlier in the game.
This specific tactics requires:• Level 8 or higher
• 120hp or more
• First Aid skill 100 or more (can be replaced by additional Super Stimpak)
• Leather armor mkII or better
• Super Stimpak x2 or more
• Improved Flamer
• Flamer Fuel x20
• Pyromaniac achievement (crucial)
This tactics is not suitable for:• mutants
• characters unable to use flamer
Depending on your level and confidence you should always get better armor and more Super Stimpaks if you have the option.
EDIT: Better place to hide suggested by Pepik:

"Strong arm of the law"Contact person: Sheriff of Hub in the building with the "POLICE" sign in Hub downtown
Level requirement: 15
Difficulty: Hard
Suitable for mutants: Yes
Reward: 9000 exp. points (3500 from Charles + 5500 for the raiders killed) and 1000 capsThis quest is recommended for characters with 150hp or more and/or some decent armor and weapon since you'll need to kill humanoid NPCs with weapons that can sometimes burst you 4 times in a row on a long range like the Assault rifle wielder there. Same luring tactics as in "A potential threat" guide is used. You should be able to complete the quest successfully by moving hex by hex and falling back every time a single NPC starts chasing you. 3 or more Super Stimpaks or higher first aid skill will be needed in case you attract 2 or 3 Raiders at the same time.
Instructional video (for Close Combat character):
Notes: This quest was completed by a Close Combat character on the request of kowal2300. The character is not an ideal Close Combat build. It is a crafter level 10 with luck 2 (a proper build should have luck 10 but this is the only CC character I have so far) and it was used only to demonstrate the tactics needed to succeed in this quest. When you'll be taking the quest you will probably already have 2x Lifegiver perk so you won't need to wear a Combat Armor mkII nor will you need 7x Super Stimpkas. These were used as the replacement for the First Aid skill that my crafter character does not have.If you think something needs to be added or I made a mistake or you have some questions, send me a PM.
