Supermutants vs Human event.
« on: May 11, 2014, 19:27 »
Got and idea of "Supermutants vs Human" event.
How it will look like:

Global event message appears, inviting everyone to come in Hub for "Supermutant vs Human" event.
After waiting %minutes% of people gathering event starts, GM teleports eveyone in a room with loot managers. Mutants go in right one, human - in left.

First scenario:
After everyone gears up, all players are teleported to Mariposa. Mutants mission is to protect Mariposa, humans - to capture it.

Second scenario:
PvP maps from Tournaments.
To cover difference and adjust chances, maybe allow t4-t3 weaponry for muties, 'cause humans will be implanted mostly.

Donno about rewards, it is purely pif-paf 4 fun idea with some roleplay.

A good team of humans should never loose to just mutants as they have range and speed superiority, while the idea is a lot of fun it will be really hard to ballance it right, and make it so the humans do not keep steam rolling the muties.

If it was a rp event and everyone gets their fair share I think it would be np, but if it depends on winning.. no thanks.

Who says we have to fight in an open field where the range and speed plays a role? We'll crush them puny humans no matter the circumstances.

My mutant has a range. And a rocket launcher. Indeed we will.
My memories of being a human aren't as clear as they once were, but I remember pettiness, hatred, jealousy... I prefer being a mutant.

While you are right with the open field, speed will always play a role, as will sneakers etc. But oke I guess I'm the only mutant who sees issues in the future so just ignore me ;x

Most important part of playing a mutant is to believe a lot and have some OP metal mkII, mainly to strenghten the morale some more. ;D

This event sounds like fun.

@Feather: I thought the most important part was not to forget to bite off your enemies' heads before they can shoot you.

..sneakers...

Can't wait to see a sneaker kill my 515 hp mutie ;D.
