Updater doesn't work. "updater.fonline2.com" and port 4040 still correct?
Try now.

I can't connect to game, can't create character, even i can't connect to update server. What the hell? Both ip and port are good on config files. wtf ? :[

/ it says "It was not possible to connect to the server" when trying to make a char

hmmm..some suggestions:

1. try downloading client from: http://forum.fonline2.com/index.php?topic=477.0  , if you didnt already

2. verify you dont have a proxy server set by accidnet in FOconfig

3. double check server and port

4. ensure you dont accidentally have two instances of the game running. Reboot computer to be sure

other than that, someone else will have better ideas to fix :) It's probably some small thing, the game is working for everyone else :)

ports shouldnt matter because you're the one connecting.

Are you at work or somewhere where internet traffic is filtered at all?

I agree is very odd, for all other players it works right away or simple solution found quickly. Wish I knew more, maybe you can post a log file? Not sure if network stuff is logged or not though

edit: possibly related to firewall or antivirus ...when it's trying to connect if you alt+tab, does windows show "allow/deny" firewall message? Try disabling windows firewall temporarily to see if it fixes

check firewall settings, or disable firewall (windwos firewall or any other)

temporarily disable antivrus too. I'm sure once a  dev responds they'll have more ideas, dont worry ! This game is worth it :)

So... I've installed latest directX  and drivers for my graphic card and still FOnlineD3D keep crashing right after I run it.

Spoiler
Starting FOnline (version 0438-F8)...

Engine initialization...

Sprite manager initialization...

Sprite manager initialization complete.

^ FOnline.log

normal FOnline.exe works but I have glitches when I move map around or try to talk with npc's.   :/

It's not the GPU; my 6670 ddr3 worked just fine, as does my 7850.

Vista.

Run the d3d.exe under compatibility mode. Using Windows 2000 worked for me.

You need run Fonline.exe if it woking, probalby you using fullscreen, if yes you must set resolution like you have in windows or just play windowsed mode, glitches must dissappear.
