Since i couldn t find a place where more info was centralized, here goes the topic. What we got so far:

You will find Gecko skinning teacher's in

Hub - Crimson Caravan office : Trapper Gorn
Junktown - Melsak, the tribal near pen.
Boneyard - Farmer Pestis Near Well.

They will teach you how to skin geckos for 600 caps.

Also there are skin buyer's, trapper gorn from crimson caravan will buy skins from you, and modoc tanner will buy it at higher price (plus he's buying also fire gecko skin)

Professions

Gunsmith and Armorer need's 100/130/150 repair skill per level
Scientist and Chemist need's 100/130/150 science skill per level

Starting Location Kenny will tell you where to find teacher's.

Stuff needed for profession/level:

- Armorer 1: 2000 caps, 6 beers, Cat s Paw mag, and Leather Jacket

if anyone has this organized and can share, ty in advance

I rememeber they said that all professions can be used on the same character to prevent alting. But how does this work if crafting of items still requires you to have a specific % amount in that area? For example if i want a gunsmith for SG and BG i need high % in SG and BG skills right? now if i want also to cratf Lasers i need high % in LW? Am i right or do i miss something?

Just remove all that % skill requirements from crafting, they are useless and will only force people to make alts. It is enough to have the professions required for it imo.

You need 60/100/130 science and repair to have all profession's in game, i don't think that's too much. No SG, BG or EW needed for crafting, the only ew/bg requirement is for laser pistol/flamer. And it's only 60% requirement.

so for example crafting minigun and laser rifle does not have any % requirements in EW and BG skills?

Nope, only repair or science, depending on profession.

In Junk Town, look up

Edit:
SG/BG/EW skills need only started Items, next items only need profession.
I with 12 Bg can craft m60 but no flamer  ;D

Ok thats cool, But then it makes even less sense to have it for Pistol and Flamer i think.
What i am trying to say is that a crafter should be tagging repair and science and should be able to craft everything if he got the professions lvl for it.
