General Discussion
« on: August 22, 2014, 17:52 »
Why?

Because I think decent amount of players come from this countries, and all of them speak basically same language, base are Serbian and Croatian language(Serbo-Croatian) which are very very similar much more similar then Czech and Slovak are.

About which countries we are talking about?
(north to south)

Slovenia (they have their own language which is quite similar to croatian, but they speak croatian perfectly)
Croatia  (Croatian)
Bosnia and Herzegovina (Mix of Croatian and Serbian, and little addition of their own, mostly difference in pronouncing 90% of words are used in our language)
Serbia (Serbian)
Vojvodina (Serbian)
Kosovo (Serbian)
Montenegro (They own language but they also speak Serbian)
Macedonia  (They own language but they also speak Serbian)
Albania  (Although they were not part of Yugoslavia they had good connections with Serbia, they have their own language, but they also speak understand Serbian)

I think all those countries and players from there would deserve one united subforum for all of them.

here I colored counties which have their part on forum(red) , countries I am voting for(green), and counties that
also dont have part but this is not about them(grey).

You may say not all of red countries have their part... I will explain (left to right)

Portugal (Tierra de Nadie)
Spain (Tierra de Nadie)
France (French subforum)
Ireland and UK(well english)
Switzerland (German,French)
Belgium (German)
Netherlands (German)
Austria (German)
Germany (German)
Czech rep (Czechoslovak sub)
Slovakia (Czechoslovak sub)
Poland (polski subforum)
Belorus (russian sub)
Ukraine (russian sub)
Russia (russian sub)

map I used was easier to color with paint, and its made after 1991, so not all countries are as they are today
(vojvodina and kosovo still part of serbia, estotina latvia and lithuania part of SSSR, krim part of ukraine)

map is not showing north eruope norways, sweden, finland which also dont have their part of forum, as well as big
countries like turkey, greece and italy, but for example playing 5 years this games, I never met player from italy, I dont know why but I didn't.
I will sound selfish here, but I am "fighting" for ppl from my region of existence :D

+1 for this idea

I mean there lots of ex yu players in fo yet we don't have our subforum.
I know it demands additional moderators and stuff, but you already have a good candidate for it , Merle :D.

Thats my 2 cents

>:(

The only and last Italian player. You can also consider Wesan Italian-polska-nigga, since he's the only player who understands a bit of Italian :D!

Anyways I support this, I saw many players coming from these countries. And maybe delete French and German, which are barely used.

I would also suggest Merle for Subforum moderator, he is well know player and forum member which hails from our parts.

I would not like German and French sub to be removed, coz Germany is big anyway and there are other countries which use its language as mentioned above, and French players once had swarm of players, I stated playing in faction which was under Cajuns(later TTTLA) alliance, and later we saw Amboys which were also french players, I would like to see that players back.

Albanian speak serbian? Say whaaaaaaaaat.

Nigga, they have their own very complicated language which is very unique for Europe. This is awesome country, its mix of south islam and north catholitics + There is Albania MK II called Kosovo. They have awesome mountains and from what i remember the biggest sale of e-music in eastern europe.

Une jan ein Shqiptar! (or something like this.)

Quote
Slovenia (they have their own language which is quite similar to croatian, but they speak croatian perfectly)

Lol what.

Actually this entire post was made by Serb most likely. Most of nations in this region have their own
languages.

Edit: The Balkanian subforum woud be good but language woud be truly a problem.

Nobody said that they don't have their own language, only that they can understand Serbo-Croatian in most cases.
